Blanking Press Operator

The Blanking Press Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, running, and mechanical set-up of the Press to ensure good quality material for use on the Forming machines. Supports management’s commitment to food safety and quality and compliance to appropriate laws, regulations and standards.

**Shift Availability**:

- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

**Day to Day Role**:

- Follow all safety and GMP practices/standards
- Identify a defective product, diagnose and determine appropriate corrective measures
- Rectify any mechnical problems
- Other duties as assigned

**Core Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent safety, work, and attendance record with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work in compliance with the guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Principles
- Manual dexterity and proficiency in the use of hand tools and equipment
- Intense visual concentration and attention to detail.
- Acute visual perception and ability to distinguish colours
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job when removing and placing dies and chutes
- Mathematical proficiency
- Basic computer skills, ability to use touch screen computer and SAP experience
- Ability to read and write English
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment
