We are looking for a motivated, reliable person to join our growing company.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the lead carpenter in the construction of decks and fences.

We value quality work and strive to meet or exceed client expectations while maintaining a positive work / life balance. We're a small company, with a friendly team of skilled individuals.

Projects range from simple installs to multi-week projects. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be available 40 hrs per week. 8am -4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- Follow instructions from the crew lead.
- Unload tools, prepare building site materials, and set up equipment.
- Use construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
- Safely work with various power tools including saws, nail guns and hand tools.
- Provide your own transportation to and from job sites around Saskatoon.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at elevated levels.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Able to work independently.
- Responsible for own PPE (including safety goggles, ear plugs).
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.

**Experience**:
1-year carpentry (preferred)

What we offer:

- $22 -35/hr depending on experience and skills.

- Set schedule with no weekends or evenings.

We are looking for someone to work from May 1st to the end of August with the possibility to extend into the fall.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
