We are a long-standing boutique firm, well-versed in patent, trademark, and industrial design practice. **Summary** **Responsibilities** - Perform, research, analyze, and provide guidance on a variety of patent and IP-related issues - Oversee and supervise the work of the Patent Assistants - Be involved in the Patents workflow as well as facilitate trainings for the Patent Department **Qualifications and Education** - A degree in mechanical engineering or related fields - Preferably a Registered Patent Agent before the CIPO **Skills, Abilities and Competencies** - Strong to advanced knowledge of Adobe and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proactive, problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail - Priority Management - Able to work under pressure when necessary and manage multiple priorities - Team spirit - Professional - Manage information confidentially and discreetly - Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, attention to detail and good judgement - Strong work ethic, interest in intellectual property and the ability to prioritize tasks - Personal responsibility
