Semiconductor Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Technical Supervisors:
Area focal point responsible for overall area performance, priorities, and personnel. Own area performance, including mercury and slow running and hold lots. Drive plans to meet daily goals in support of delivering quality product to customers on time. Ensure effective communication of daily goals and activities for the area. Responsible for managing constraint tools and resources for maximum factory performance.
- Area sustaining - shift coverage for process, maint, and manufacturing issues
- Owns Equipment Availability, Performance and Escalations on shift.
- Owns execution to all quality components including 5S, tool qualifications, tool PMs, etc..
- Manages staffing requirements
- Manufacturing metrics ownership (avail, utilization, holds, cycle time, cost, scrap, etc.)
- Scrap containment and corrective action ownership (SBR’s)
- Area priority ownership and communication
- Area escalations (parts, HDAP execution, mercury lots, engineering support)
- Training matrix ownership (cross-training)
- Test wafer management
- Operation Section Manager backfill.
- Prioritizing and coordinating the corrective and preventive maintenance of tools
- Participate in supplier meetings, cost reductions, continuous improvement projects, TMS maintenance.
- Responsible for monitoring maintenance costs (parts, labor, and contracts).
- Responsibilities include ensuring all Safety, OSHA and EPA regulations are in compliance (Lasers, CFC's, LO/TO, Calibration Equipment),
- Completion of PM and development process for all direct reports, share key findings with and reuse from other fabs, reward team and individuals for successes, communicate business status and performance to goals at a minimum of once per month to team.
- Must be flexible to help cover other shifts when necessary.

**Requirements**:
5+ years experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment. BS or equivalent in related field is a preference but not required. Strong track record of tactical decision-making, and ability to quickly disseminate and execute plans across an organization.
