As we continue to grow we are looking to add a **Bid and Proposal Coordinator** to the Scandi Family

This is a permanent full time hybrid position with time split between home and our Edmonton Head Office you will work 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

**What your day to day will look like**:
**Reporting directly into the VP, Business Development scoping and coordinating appropriate bids for new client RFP's.**
- **Bid and Proposal Coordination**:Monitor bid opportunities pipeline, circulate opportunities and create proposal outlines**, **ensuring corporate branding and quality standard
- ** Bid Pricing;** Review all bid documents, create pricing strategy and bid pricing framework, investigate activity cost factors and critical success factors for accurate bidding, highlight bid methodology for Management review.
- ** Bid Evaluation; **conduct a post mortem bid evaluation, maintain all documentation in analytics database and monitor model trends for insights in bidding and current win/ loss margins.
- ** Ad Hoc Pricing; **Analyze and estimate pricing changes on existing locations and adhoc services

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Must have minimum 1-3 years in a bid coordination or an analysis/business financial modelling role
- Ability to develop pricing analysis and forecasting, with an understanding of cost & margin analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills specifically to create and edit complex formulas would be an asset
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and analysis framework is preferred
- Post Secondary education in Business is preferred, with relevant technical and/or employment experience considered
- Must have strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and the ability to problem solve
- Tech savvy know your way around computers and be able to pick up new programs quickly
- Ability to adapt communication style acting as main liaison between multiple departments both internal and external
