**Job Title: 2-Gear Machinist**

**Location: Windsor, ON**

**Shift: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM)**

**Responsibilities**:
Review shift communication notes to understand priorities and ongoing projects.

Perform machine warm-up procedures to ensure optimal performance.

Set up and operate CNC cylindrical grinding machines (OD/ID) and thread grinding machines.

Load materials, run cycles, and monitor machine operation to ensure quality.

Perform in-process inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain part accuracy.

Edit programs and make offsets as needed.

Set up parts between centers or on a magnetic chuck.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Qualifications**:
3-5 years of experience with thread grinding and CNC cylindrical grinding (OD/ID).

Experience with Calvista grinders S30 (specifically Fanuc-based and Windows-based controllers) is highly desirable.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of grinding principles and techniques.

Proficiency in editing programs and making offsets.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to pass a background check

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- thread grinding: 4 years (preferred)
- CNC cylindrical grinding: 4 years (preferred)
