Precision Spline

Colonial Tool Group Inc., a trusted leader in broaching tools and precision spindles across North America, is looking for a true high-precision grinder to join the Spline Grind Department. This is not general CNC work. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC gear and spline grinders to produce precision components.
• The ability to hold close tolerances on complicated parts. Hold/Mic tolerance within .0002"
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure machining accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections to maintain peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, ensuring efficient operation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Experience

• A minimum of 1+ years of hands-on CNC gear OR spline grinding experience.
• Proven production history holding ±0.0002" (or tighter) on splines, gears.
