**Business Development Manager**
Skill:Freight Transportation - Third-Party Logistics (3PL) - Logistics Management - Report Writing - IT Operations - Brokerage - Freight Forwarding - Dispatching - Supply Chain Management - LTL Shipping - Microsoft Office - Customer Service - Communication - Problem Solving - Backhaul
**Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests for information
- Respond promptly to client complaints and feedback
- Respond promptly to client requests for help and support
- Manage customer accounts in the CRM
- Build strong relationships with clients by following up on their requests for information, resolving issues, and providing support as needed
- Build relationships with other departments within the company as well as with external third parties (e.g., insurance agents, contractors, etc.)to identify new business opportunities
- Work closely with sales professionals to ensure that all marketing materials are properly designed, developed, and delivered as well as ensure that all marketing materials are properly delivered upon request
- Other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization in a professional manner. Must be able to maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills through coaching and mentoring others. Must be able to demonstrate strong problem solving skills through collaboration and conflict resolution. Must be able to demonstrate strong project management skills through tracking multiple projects in a timely manner while meeting deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 38 per week
**Salary**: $34,712.02-$126,073.78 per year
