**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the team by helping with food service as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Proficiency in using POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a genuine desire to help guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
