**Martin's Family Fruit Farm operates a State-of-the-Art facility in Elmira, Ontario. Here we produce our famous Crispy Apple Chips, Apple Cider, fresh sliced apples for commercial bakeries and our newest product line, Apple Puree.**

**We are presently looking for a motivated self-starter for full-time permanent employment. The Puree Lead for our night shift has a unique opportunity to work 4 days, followed by 3 days off. We also offer a competitive wage, shift premium and full benefits**

**Hours: Monday to Thursday 10pm to 8am**

**Position Description**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, this hands-on role will be responsible for ensuring that the puree equipment is running safely and efficiently. This key position will provide effective management of the puree production line and leadership of the production team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate, adjust, calibrate and troubleshoot line equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Provide on-the-job instruction and training to employees
- Work towards achieving KPI goals and production targets through careful monitoring and continuous improvement
- Perform startup activities to ensure proper and timely equipment operation
- Perform changeovers and adjust equipment to maximize/enhance efficiency
- Respond to any defects or issues with equipment. Notify Maintenance of needed repairs.
- Identify equipment issues to initiate preventative measures with Maintenance
- Minimize downtime through timely coordination of repairs with Maintenance
- Responsible for full sanitation of the line as production runs are completed
- Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to Production Manager
- Cross train and assist with other production lines as needed

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Mechanically inclined with experience working with industrial equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide leadership
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
