**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Programming and Events Supervisor, Program Instructor V is a member of the Sports Development, Wellness, and Culture Department. In this position, you have the opportunity to be creative and innovative, while working to host new programs for the community. You will work to facilitate programs, overcome challenges, and provide new experiences to the community in program development.

Program Instructor V: Works independently in the preparation and delivery of a program or course with a minimum of one year of previous related work experience.

**Responsibilities**

Your main responsibilities will be centered around the facilitation, creation of content, and implementation of programs. These programs include but are not limited to first aid, stay safe, educational sessions, special interests, skating, and day camps. In addition to the development of each program, you will also be responsible for monitoring the program's success and customer satisfaction. This position is hands-on in delivering all programs at Eastlink Centre, along with other recreation facilities within the City of Grande Prairie. You will work with other staff members to ensure that programs are in place and operating efficiently.

Tuesday - Saturday 35 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and are dictated by the Supervisor

**Salary/Wage**

$26.40 per hour; as per CUPE Collective Agreement
