**Job overview**

The Clinic Coordinator’s multifaceted role demands robust organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. They efficiently manage clinic operations, ensuring patient and staff support. Responsibilities include overseeing business aspects, maintaining smooth operations, prioritizing client service excellence, and adhering to healthcare standards—all while adapting to the unique dynamics of this emerging field.

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Greet patients with enthusiasm when they enter the clinic
- Checking in patients for appointments
- Answer the phones in a prompt manner
- Scheduling or rescheduling patient appointments
- Sending and accepting packages (UPS, FedEx, Purolator)
- Scanning and filing of patient information
- Processing and posting payments in clinic
- Ensure that the front desk and main waiting area is tidy
- Update patient information and ensuring that personal information is kept secure and confidential (Jane app)
- Stay accountable for your role in the processes and system for protection of personal information
- Assist in the general office housekeeping duties

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary diploma or degree in relevant field (e.g. healthcare administration, business administration, psychology, public health, or a related discipline)
- Experience in administrative and customer service position is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience working in Microsoft
- Experience using Jane App
- Comfortable working with the public
- Provide a calming presence in interactions with patients and guardians
- Comfortable answering phones with proper phone etiquette
- Experience with Jane EMR is an asset

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Benefits**:

- 2 weeks PTO
- Extended health care following 3 months employment

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift
- Monday - Friday, no weekends

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare a bonus

**Work Location**: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Pay**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
