General Labourer Excavating

**Job Title: General Labourer**

**We work in a metal manufacturing, construction, and installation environment. This is a physically demanding role. If you enjoy hands on work and learning new skilled trades, you will excel in this position. Attention to detail is critical to this role and you must be able to be a team player.**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and a team player.
- Self motivation and results orientated.
- Follow direction and stay on the task at hand.

**Job Qualifications and Assets**:

- Experience in construction environment for up to 1 year would be an asset.
- Must possess transportation to and from Delhi, Ontario. There is no public transit available.
- Valid G license.
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, Scissor Lift, Forklift, etc. certificates are an asset, but we are willing to train.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, complete work in a timely manner, strong work ethic.
- Punctual, trustworthy, and mature.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

**Paid**: Weekly by cheque

For themselves and their immediate family members (spouse and children living at the same address, children must be attending school full time and be under the age of 18) to a _**maximum of $1,000.00 per calendar year per employee**_.

Field, Shop and Administration Employees must be _employed for at least 3 consecutive months_ and _work a minimum of 35 hours per week_ to be eligible. Benefits will be reimbursed through payroll from an original paid provider receipt.

**Schedule**:

- Day shift - Monday through Friday
- 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
- 44-50 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Overtime pay after 44 hours in a work week.
