**About The Role**:
Working in our manufacturing facility, you’ll be the primary leader of our production facility where we make our ice creams, cakes, brownies, sauces, and more.

As Production Manager, you will oversee the entire production facility, including our team of 30 Bakers, Supervisors, Admin, Warehouse Associates, and Drivers. You will report directly to the President, and work alongside other teams including R&D, Store Operations, and Marketing.

This is a full time permanent role with occasional work on weekends as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee entire bakery and production facility, including production of ice creams, cakes, brownies, sauces, and ingredients
- Recruit and develop a strong team of employees, providing support and training, and setting expectations and ensuring our team meets them. We’re only as good as our people so mentoring, developing, and motivating a successful team is pivotal to our organization.
- Maintain a strong safety culture, including adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SQF (GFSI)
- Own the Continuous Improvement program, including setting and monitoring KPIs & other metrics for output, quality, and safety.
- Manage production planning and scheduling through your team of admin and supervisory staff.
- Ensure equipment is well maintained and running, including either making small fixes or liaising with the right parties to remedy any issues

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- 7+ years experience and progressive leadership with managing production facilities, ideally those with batch-based production
- Experience with food safety programs including CFIA, OMAFA, HACCP, GMPs and SQF (or other GFSI standards), with demonstrated audit readiness
- Proven leadership and management of teams including direct reports
- Experience and/or education with a Process Improvement discipline would be a plus (Lean, Six Sigma, CI, etc)
- Demonstrated knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot small equipment issues
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods)

This is in our state of the art Vaughan office, R&D, and production facility located on Strada Drive near Highway 7 & Pine Valley (close to Hwy 400 & Hwy 407).
