**The Opportunity**:
Responsible for the development, performance, and maintenance of Sentrex’s national transportation requirements to produce an efficient transport service across both the Wholesale and Pharmacy Operations, maximizing service, performance, value, and profitability against pre-agreed targets.

**A Day in the Life (What you will do here)**:

- Effectively manage the day-to-day tasks such as route planning, resource allocation and driver supervision.
- Develop, implement, and manage activities related to dispatching technology, routing, maintenance, insurance and tracking of Sentrex fleet vehicles.
- Manage the Sentrex drivers and contribute to training, performance management and development of the team.
- Promote safe work activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in achieving maximum customer/client satisfaction both internal and external in accordance with Sentrex’s strategic plans.
- Negotiate carrier and equipment related contracts and monitor contract fulfillment.
- Analyze freight related expenditures to develop plans, pricing, and budgets, driving increased profitability and improved services.
- Audit carrier freight bills to ensure accuracy.
- Support other departments with transportation related issues.
- Prepare regular reporting as required.
- Additional duties as determined by your Manager.

**What you need to ensure you are set up for success**:

- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business management, engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience as a transportation manager
- Experience with fleet management, routing software and transport management systems
- Solid knowledge of the transportation industry, Transport Canada regulations/policies and logistics
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good leadership skills with the ability to work well with others
