**BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR/DZ Driver**

We are seeking a full time **BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR/DZ Driver **for one of our client in **Etobicoke, On**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Mobile Crane (Boom) Truck to deliver building materials safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to meet customer demands.
- Perform additional duties as required.

**Work Experience & Requirements**:

- Must be physically fit and capable of performing the job duties.
- **Mandatory**: 1-2 years of experience in same role
- **Mandatory**: At least 3 years of light commercial driving experience.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong written and oral communication skills (ability to speak, read, and write English).
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.

**Physical Activity Requirements**:

- Drive heavy commercial vehicles (must possess a valid DZ license).
- Safely operate the boom using remote controls to unload building materials.
- Climb stairs (in houses and trucks) to secure and unsecure loads and perform checks.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, pulling, pushing, and torso twisting.
- Transfer building materials (e.g., drywall) from boom crane to dolly.
- Lift, carry, and stack materials such as drywall and insulation, with some loads weighing up to 80 pounds.

**Education & Certifications**:

- Must hold a valid Crane License.
- Must possess a valid DZ Class Ontario driver’s license (or equivalent license for truck class).

**Location**: Etobicoke, ON

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Pay Rate**: $28/hr. to $30/hr.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
