**Job Summary**:
Scafom-rux is a leading supplier of quality-driven swing stage and scaffolding systems throughout Canada and the USA. Supported by seven global manufacturing facilities, our innovative products are designed to deliver operational efficiency to our customers.

We are currently looking to add a full-time DZ Driver to work at our Etobicoke location. This position will work closely with Operations and is primarily responsible for operating DZ vehicles to transport goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Operate a 26’ open flat deck tandem axle truck to transport products, equipment, or materials to and from destinations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries, adhering to assigned schedules and route assignments.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly and handled safely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately and on time.
- Report any delays, accidents, or customer issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle.
- Perform general labour tasks when required.
- Assist with yard work and maintenance as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a commercial driver.
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and work in extreme temperatures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of the GTA and the ability to drive a truck in tight, congested traffic.
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice/when required.

**Physical & Psychological Working Conditions/Requirements**:
Identify the working conditions and physical/psychological demands which relate to the essential functions of the position, such as working indoors/outdoors, working with exposures to hazards, etc.
- The work is performed in an office environment which requires long periods of sitting and use of computer screens. Minimal lifting, bending and crouching required.
- Deadline pressures, stress of multi-tasking, communicating, and interacting diplomatically with clients, supervisors and co-workers.
- Respect, honesty and sound work ethics are important attributes.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and focus on day-to-day activities and interactions required
- Professional demeanor at all times when dealing with clients, employees and others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.33 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
