We are looking for an experienced, reliable, detail-oriented Lead Carpenter/Framer to join the York team producing outstanding results to “make it happen” for our clients. Does this sound like you? If you’ve answered, YES, we want you

**Report to Site Supervisor**
- Be punctual and detail-oriented
- Have your own transportation to job sites and drivers license
- Wear PPE always on the job site - Safely complete all assigned tasks
- Be compliant with all company policies and regulations
- York Construction is a COR safety certified company and your participation in the active management of safety risks will be expected.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of Residential framing and team leadership experience
- Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
- Attention to detail, producing high quality work
- Finish carpentry, rough framing, dry-walling
- Reading and interrupting blue prints and related report
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
- Construction in new residential and commercial experience
- Concrete forming, and cabinetry work an asset
- Eligible to operate a motor vehicle. Drivers License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Follow our OH&S program at all times

**Physical Demands**
- Occasional lifting from 0 to 50 lbs.+ may be required
- Access and mobility in tight spaces possible
- Fit Testing - half and full-face mask as needed; annual certification required
- Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
