**About the Hotel **The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off of the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a pool with a 100-ft water slide.

**Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone with a knack for efficient and courteous service to join our team of amazing Bistro servers**

**What will you be doing?**
- Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally
- Preparing food and beverages for service to hotel guests and presenting food according to established health and presentation standards.
- Performing side-work, and any other opening or closing duties as required. Ensuring that stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift.
- Receiving guest payments and processing transactions.
- Making appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines.

**What are the requirements for this role?**
- Basic reading and writing abilities
- Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or provincial government agencies.
- Available to work any shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight when required
- This position will be scheduled primarily in the evenings
