**Plant Locations**:3200 Rideau Road & 952 Moodie Drive

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operates a loader at our Ready Mix Plant in and around the yard
- Moving 50 pounds cement blocks
- Shoveling under plant and keeping the yard clean
- Inspection of plant everyday
- Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
- Participate in routine maintenance

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- 2 + years’ of experience in the operation of heavy equipment
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of flagmen and spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal safety equipment and lifting of heavy loads.
- Knowledge of equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance requirements
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (both listening and verbal)
