**JOB SUMMARY**

Location: Sosta Pizzeria situated inside the Alt Halifax Airport Hotel

Bartender is responsible for providing professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, food and beverage service in a timely manner and deliver the ultimate guest experience. They can also be called upon to perform duties of greeting, serving and bussing.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Set and stock the bar at the start of the shift and clean at end of the shift
- Prepare and serve all food and beverages
- Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations
- Perform related maintenance/cleaning of equipment
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar-top, service areas
- Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even when busy
- Ensure that all equipment is stored in the correct manner, in line with all food and beverage/conference and banqueting requirements and health & safety legislation.
- All other duties as required

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Previous bartending experience
- Familiar with POS systems
- Excellent product knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Problem solving skills
- Able to work quickly and multi-task
- Have an eye for detail and strong sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time, lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
