**Position: Warehouse Associate**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Location**: Markham

**Responsibilities**:

- Pull supplies from stock, update inventory balance records, and deliver supplies to designated areas by hand or by forklift.
- Compile data from sources such as packing slips, purchase orders, invoices and write or enter information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records.
- Organize material neatly to easily identify product (e.g. properly labeled, date received, etc.)
- Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count.
- Unload inbound trucks by hand or a forklift and check material against the packing slip.
- Report damaged or defective product.
- Load delivery trucks by hand or a forklift.
- Pick and pack orders for shipping.
- Participates in cycle counts.
- On a daily basis, inspect the forklift and other equipment.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
- Follow JY Care policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment is preferred
- Inventory experience
- Forklift certified
- Experience in warehouse system
- High energy, self-motivated, and attention to detail
- Well-organized, multi-task oriented and efficient
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Works well independently and as part of a team

**Language**:

- Mandarin or Cantonese (preferred)
