**Summary**:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Associate must unload and load shipments regularly, with the capability of some repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, material handling cart or dolly, etc. Other responsibilities will include the inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality. The Warehouse Associate must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming and outgoing items.

**Job Duties**:

- Match product with shipping orders.
- Match incoming product with related Purchase Order(s).
- Package product to ensure saleable condition.
- Pick and kit material required for production orders.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments.
- May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking of shipped product.
- Oversee the secure and accurate loading of shipments.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Follow current standards and procedures.
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years' experience in the shipping industry preferred.
- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Laser-focussed on delivering for the customer.
- Works well under pressure and meets set deadlines.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.

**Working Conditions**:

- Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer.
- Overtime as required.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
- Work is performed in a combination of environments.

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse worker: 1 year (preferred)
