Needed immediately medical receptionist trained to assist family doctor in her practice. At least One year experience in a similar position is a must.

**Position Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greets patients in a warm and welcoming manner, answer multi-line Phone
- Responds to enquires or refer appropriately as required
- Schedule specialist’s appointments along with a variety of exams and tests.
- Answer all phone calls and correspondence fax, and posted mail.
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing, typing, faxing, scanning and photocopying.
- Prepare, organize and maintain the front desk.
- Coordinate patient care through the clinic - waiting room, exam room
- Register and maintain electronic medical records of patients - update address, allergies, phone number and each visit.
- Share information gathered from patients with appropriate team members to assist in more comprehensive care of the patient.
- Clean and sterilize materials and instruments following universal precautions.
- Prepares examination rooms; select, setup and maintain medical supplies and equipment for all examinations and procedures.
- Check inventory and order medical supplies and materials.
- Maintains clinic cleanliness and responds to any cleaning needs in the normal course of business including laundry.
- Any other duties assigned in the normal course of business.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Work Location: In person
