ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Data Services Coordinator is to ensure that music data from our Audio
- and Audio-Visual partners are received and ingested each quarter for accurate and timely distribution of royalties to our members. More specific responsibilities include tracking incoming documents (cue sheets), manipulating the information received and storing, sorting, and recording such documents electronically in our operational database.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
**You will contribute to “raising the bar for music rights,” by**:
- Validating and tracking original or revised cue sheets from our partners both International and Domestic
- Prioritizing and sorting all validated documents including the organization of their electronic storage
- Identification of incoming cue sheets as International or Domestic to determine the classification of documents
- Ingestion activities for cue sheets received by the operational system. This includes data manipulation and monitoring the process to ensure data load is successful
- Handling of ad-hoc queries and requests from other Operational teams and members
- Other duties as required.
Experience
- Windows computer literacy: Advanced MS Office; Experienced with MS Excel on data cleansing/manipulation/organization techniques is a must
- MS Access and database knowledge is an asset.
