Vancouver, Canada Belgian Fries Full time

Belgian Fries is a casual spot on Commercial Drive offering Belgian-style fries and Canadian comfort food since 1998.

**We are currently looking for permanent and full-time Line Cooks/preps.**

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Timely prepare quality food items according to guest orders while following recipe, portion, and presentation standards set forth by Belgian Fries
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean the kitchen and all kitchen equipment including but not limited to: deep fryer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, and flat top grill
- Properly cover, date, and rotate all food containers, ensure all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Return not in use food items to designated storage areas
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Perform regular inventory counts and report shortages to supervisor or manager
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area

Opening the restaurant, peeling, washing, chopping and blanching, cleaning fryers and preparing for the day,

Education, skills and experience required:

- Completion of Secondary School
- At least a couple years of experience of food preparation in commercial environment
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and presentation

**Language**:

- Communication skills in English
