**Who We're Looking For**

Kidco Construction is seeking a qualified Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team of On-Road Heavy Duty Mechanics. Our mechanics are essential in maintaining the operational efficiency of our on-road trucks and trailers, ensuring they remain in optimal condition throughout the season.

Are you a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician looking for a dynamic work environment repairing a diverse range of on-road trucks and trailers? Do you want to further your experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and suspension systems? Whether you’re a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic looking to gain more experience, or a veteran technician seeking diverse and challenging opportunities like troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, performing advanced diagnostics, and working on specialized equipment, Kidco’s diverse fleet ensures unique daily objectives, supported by our strong commitment to safety and career advancement.
- Holds a valid Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician ticket
- Proficient in performing CVIP Inspections
- Experienced with CAT, Paccar, Cummins, and International engines and chassis
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing trucks and trailers, including engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and suspension systems
- Experienced repairing portable construction equipment like generators and water pumps
- Possesses a valid Class 5 License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Owns a full set of tools
- Has their own personal vehicle to commute to work with
