**Key Responsibilities**:
Responsible for all aspects of Crown, Freehold and Fee mineral land administration including but not limited to:

- Crown land sales, continuations & validations, extension requests, postings, and direct buys
- Administration of Fee lands
- Contact for Department of Energy (DOE) and Alberta Energy Regulator (AER)
- Drafting and finalizing production allocation unit agreements (PAUAs)
- Determining tract allocation for monthly royalties payable and advising Production Accounting
- Setting up new royalty wells with Production Accounting and notifying them when DOE amends tract factors and re-runs are required
- Working collaboratively with Production Accounting, calculating and billing Freehold Mineral taxes
- Dealing with royalty non-compliance issues
- Handling default notices, partner issues, and notice of assignments
- Monthly reporting.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of experience in land contracts and administration with 5+ years leading a team
- Knowledgeable on current Alberta provincial rules and regulations
- Administrative proficiency in CS Land and Optix as well as working knowledge of Spin2 and CORES
- Experience with Freehold mineral leases is essential
- Works well independently and within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and strength in building relationships across teams.
