Milton, Canada Granite Ridge Golf Club Full time

As a member of the Golf Course Maintenance Team at Granite Ridge, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks on the golf course to maintain its appearance and condition. This includes caring for the greens, fairways, tees, bunkers and surrounding landscape. You will work alongside a team to keep the course in top shape and ensure it is ready for play every day.

**Positions Available**:

- Full Time Seasonal - April to November (start date and finish date are weather dependent)
- Part Time Seasonal - April to November (5-6 hours a day, 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Start Date and Finish Date are Weather Dependent)
- Student Seasonal - End of April/Beginning of May to End of August/Beginning of September (Ideal for University Students)

**Responsibilities**:

- Mow fairways, greens, tees, and rough
- Change pins, move tee markers, trim trees
- Rake/edge bunkers,
- Remove debris, weeds, and other unwanted materials from the course
- Ensure that all course facilities and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work weekend shifts with a 12 days on 2 days off schedule
- Previous experience working on a golf course or in grounds maintenance is a bonus but not mandatory
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
