About Us: Currently hiring for our Edmonton location. We are a modern, private outpatient addiction and mental health treatment program committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care. Our services include outpatient detox, intensive outpatient programming (IOP), and aftercare, all grounded in a holistic, recovery-oriented approach.

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist (Master’s or PhD level) to join our interdisciplinary team at Brick House Recovery Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician who is passionate about helping individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The psychologist will primarily provide individual therapy and psychological assessments as part of our outpatient program. This is an independent contractor role with a 75/25 fee split. Opportunities to participate in group programming will also be available based on interest and fit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clinical Assessment: Conduct psychological assessments, intake interviews, and diagnostic evaluations to inform individualized care plans.
- Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one therapy using evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and regularly update personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the client and clinical team.
- Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, addiction counselors, and other team members.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Professional Development: Stay up to date on evidence-based practices and developments in the fields of addiction and mental health.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
- Minimum 1 years of clinical experience, preferably in addiction and/or concurrent disorders.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatments for substance use and mental health conditions.
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with psychological assessments and diagnostic formulation.

Compensation:

- 75/25 split (clinician retains 75% of billings).
- Opportunities for expanded clinical roles, including limited group programming, if desired.
- Administrative and referral support provided.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
