**About the Organization**: Axella Compusoft Inc - Well established IT Consulting firm looking for Full stack Developer on a contract position.

**Roles and Responsibilities**: As a Senior QA Tester with extensive experience, your role will involve:

- Developing comprehensive test plans and executing various types of testing to ensure the quality of software products.
- Creating and maintaining test artifacts supporting QA testing, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand system requirements, user stories, and technical designs to develop effective QA test cases.
- Conducting accessibility and/or AODA testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Utilizing testing tools and programming scripting languages such as Python to automate testing processes where applicable.
- Designing, writing, and executing automated test scripts using automated testing technologies.
- Documenting errors and managing defect tracking throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrating proficiency in SQL and ESRI GIS spatial databases to support testing activities.
- Utilizing test management software tools to organize and track testing activities effectively.

**Requirements**:

- **1. Qualifications**:_

Diploma or Degree in the field of Software Engineering is minimum required.
- **2. Technical Skills & Experience Required**:_

Mandatory
- 8+ years of traditional QA testing and 7+ years of agile testing experience
- Development of test plans, execution of various types of testing and development of related test artefacts supporting QA testing
- Experience with understanding system requirements, user stories and technical design the development of QA test cases.
- Experience with accessibility and/or AODA testing
- Working knowledge of testing tools and programming scripting languages such as python
- Experience with design, writing and execution of automated test scripts and related automated testing technologies
- Documenting errors and experience with defect tracking management
- Working knowledge of SQL and ESRI GIS spatial databases
- Working knowledge of test management software tools

Desirable
- Engineering or Computer Science degree an asset

**Job Types**: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $38.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
