**Duties**
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.

- Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow with four-handed dentistry techniques.

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.

- Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment notes.

- Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and updating medical documentation.

- Conduct patient education on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions using clear dental terminology.

- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols and anatomy knowledge to ensure patient safety.

**Experience**
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.

- Prior hands-on experience with dental assisting duties including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and managing medical records.

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with children is highly desirable.

- Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program is required; additional certifications in X-ray technology or pediatric dentistry are advantageous.

Pay: $23.27-$36.17 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
