**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including follow-ups and reminders.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Certified Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Cleardent is desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is required; CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
