**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated **Assistant Plant Manager** with seafood processing experience to play a key leadership role in our Vancouver facility. This is a **hands-on leadership opportunity**, working closely with the Plant Manager and production team to ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Plant Manager and collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee daily plant operations.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules, balancing materials, workforce, and capacity.
- Optimize equipment and workforce utilization to maximize output and control costs.
- Collect and analyze production data to inform process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with quality and seafood safety regulations.
- Train, develop, and lead production staff to build a strong, motivated team.
- Oversee logistics of inbound and outbound seafood products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges to minimize downtime.
- Operate forklifts as needed in production and cold storage areas.

**Qualifications**
- Proven **seafood processing industry experience** (required).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in plant operations, production scheduling, or related management.
- In-depth knowledge of seafood safety standards and processing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English required; Chinese, Japanese, or Vietnamese language skills are an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Competitive salary**:$75,000 - $95,000 per year**.
