**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide psychotherapy services including individual, group, and family counseling.
- Utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention.
- Engage in crisis management and provide support during acute situations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on various issues such as grief, addiction, and PTSD.
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients and manage case files effectively.
- Stay current with clinical research and best practices in mental health treatment.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; licensure as a Psychotherapist is required.
- Experience working with motor vehicle accident injury clients is preferred
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavioral management strategies.
- Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems for medical documentation.
- Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders including PTSD, chronic pain conditions, and developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
