Analyst Banking Operations

Permanent Full Time

**Position**Overview**:
The Analyst Banking Operations position is responsible for daily and monthly bank account reconciliations and providing accurate and timely service to all internal and external clients.

**What you will do**
- Daily and/or monthly reconciliation of all bank account transactions to the general ledger
- Daily review and analysis of time-sensitive error messages to prevent fraudulent exposure to the company
- Assist with quarter-end reporting and unclaimed property reporting
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of various SAP modules and CS14 (Corporate Disbursement History System)
- Maintain an understanding of lines of business systems which impact bank general ledger accounts
- Other general or department wide tasks as assigned

**What you will bring**
- 2-3 years experience in an accounting position
- Completion of post secondary education, specializing in Accounting/Finance, such as Business Administration or B. Comm
- Completion of/or working toward a professional accounting designation would be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Well demonstrated attention to detail
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deal with fluctuating work volumes
- Must be able to work under time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent teamwork and people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP and basic accounting experience would be an asset
- Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between **$40,300****:

- $60,400** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
