Corporate Legal Assistant

**Who we are**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- File notices, annual reports, declarations, registrations and other various documents with the relevant authorities (Corporations Canada, Registre des Entreprises, Ontario Business Registry, etc.).
- Maintain records and minute books of various corporate entities.
- Draft annual resolutions and various documents related to changes that need to be integrated in the records of the corporate minutes.
- Update and ensure the accuracy of the summaries, lists and databases of the department.
- Manage calendars, filing deadlines and billing as required.
- Provide administrative support and perform general procedural tasks, such as communicating with the Registre des Entreprises and similar.
**Qualifications & Competencies**:
- CEGEP degree in administration or equivalent experience / Legal assistant certificate or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three (3) year of professional experience in a similar position.
- Excellent oral and writing skills in French and English. Please note that due to the nature of the position, a proficient level of English is required to communicate on a regular basis with employees outside of Quebec.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of Athennian an asset (or experience with minute book database program).
- Great attention to detail.
- Priority management and ability to work with deadlines.
