We are looking for a an Assistant buyer for our just in time food processing plant located in Pointe Claire.

As our Assistant Buyer, you will be mainly responsible for inventory and replenishment of raw materials, packaging materials, nonstock items, office and QC supplies. as well as prepare purchase orders and keep track of any shortage, receptions or procurement issues

**Main Duties**
- Process Purchase orders to secure inventory required for a “just-in-time” production
- Arrange local and US pick up for Vendor orders.
- Control, monitor and expedite scheduled orders for on-time receptions and follow-up on open orders due or not received.
- Request missing documentations at receiving (COA).
- Address any shortage or procurement issues.
- Follow-up on the Critical List for supply issues affecting current productions & find solution with internal teams.
- Perform stock transfers and keep track of outside warehouse inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Production for quality issue.

You are bilingual with experience in purchasing or and administration position. You have an excellent command of Microsoft Excel and comprehensive experience with an ERP. Positive attitude and curious to find solution to problems.
