Cybersecurity Specialist (Intermediate)
**Location**: Canada, Remote

MOBIA is currently recruiting an Intermediate Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team for full-time employment, REMOTELY. We are looking for someone passionate about technology, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and is committed to driving innovation in the field of cybersecurity.

**The Role**:
As an Intermediate Cybersecurity Specialist at MOBIA, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security of our clients' systems and networks. Your responsibilities will include:
**Client Collaboration**: Work closely with clients to provide actionable insights, communicate findings, and recommend tailored security improvements.
**Proactive Security Strategies**: Participate in security architecture reviews and help develop threat models, attack simulations, and proactive defense strategies.
**Knowledge Sharing**: Stay updated on emerging security tools and methodologies, and share your expertise with the team and clients to ensure MOBIA remains a leader in cybersecurity.
**Nice to Haves**:
While not mandatory, the following certifications and skills are highly desirable:
Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, or equivalent.
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of cloud security principles.
Familiarity with operational technology (OT) and IoT security considerations.
Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tool
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
OSCP, GPEN Certifications
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing and security assessments.
Proven problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
