**What to Expect**:
You will be responsible for reviewing documents related to Natural Health Products and ensuring compliance of NHP (Natural Health Products) to Health Canada regulation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in implementing and upholding quality standards throughout the production process.
A day in the life:
- Identify and screen Raw Material sources to ensure compliance with the Quality Guide for Natural Health Products.
- Establish a Raw Material Contaminant profile checklist based on vendor information or existing company profiles.
- Develop draft Product Specifications and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) templates for Natural Health Products (NHP)
- Support NHP Stability studies and documentation to comply with local regulations.
- Support NHP VMHS (Vitamins, Minerals, and Herbal Supplements) Product Release, investigating non-compliant product deviations.
- Assist in managing deviations, conducting consumer complaint investigations, and promoting a positive employee relations climate.
**Role Requirements**
- **A university degree or equivalent, preferably in the fields of food science, pharmacy, or microbiology.**:
- **Must have 3-5 years of expereince in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment with regulated Natural Health Products**:
- Strong understanding of Health Canada Natural Health Products GMP requirements and regulations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and be detail oriented.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Managing consumer complaints and finished product releases.
- Interaction with 3rd Parties: External Warehouse, Co-Mans and Nestle affiliates establishments.
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in Health Canada Natural Health Products GMP requirements and regulations, managing and handling consumer complaints and product release.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively learn from and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Knowledge of Power BI
