**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Youth, Employment and Training, the Supervisor of Youth Outreach is responsible for the integration and day-to-day coordination of outreach services. This position will be responsible for supporting community development and liaising with community stakeholders. The Supervisor will support all staff working on site, and in mobile programs, in delivering services through an integrated approach to service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct supervision to outreach program staff; including hiring, determining work priorities, assigning duties, training, setting performance standards and conducting performance reviews.
- Support team development through relationship building, circle processes and clear communication.
- Continued development of expansive youth outreach to homeless youth including but not limited to precariously homeless and youth in encampments programming grounded in Indigenous culture and worldviews which are consistent with internal and external program standards and related funder guidelines.
- Ensuring staff and program support the distinct cultural needs of community members. This can include participation in ceremony, land-based practices and relationship with Elders and Traditional Knowledge Keepers.
- Working in relationship with the Supervisor of Native Youth Resource Centre and other NCFST leadership as needed to ensure seamless and coordinated service delivery.
- Providing conflict resolution and crisis intervention as needed.
- Collaborating with external stakeholders in program development, execution, and evaluation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files according to specified timelines, and provides written reports as required.
- Assisting in data collection and analysis to determine effectiveness of programs.
- Responsible for budgets and expenditures.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required.

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary education in human services field and at least 5 years’ experience in a social service agency (preferably in outreach) and 1-year supervisory experience OR a combination of education and experience working with Indigenous peoples.
- Lived experience as an Indigenous person with the ability to transfer traditional knowledge and teachings, respecting the unique cultural distinctions and variations found throughout Turtle Island.
- Strong understanding and practice of Indigenous approaches to healing, including land-based practices and cultural knowledge.
- Knowledge of contemporary off reserve Indigenous realities, particularly as it relates to Youth. Ability to work within a team approach to service delivery.
