Autocad Technician

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Work with Draft, our proprietary drafting software designed by Planitar to produce iGUIDE floor plans for residential and commercial real estate.
- Work with Xactimate to prepare floor plan sketches for estimating.
- Work with Revit to prepare floor plans for architecture, construction & engineering.
- Address and report issues that may surface during production to the iGUIDE Drafting Team Leader for the associated industry.
- Participate in cross-functional, continuous improvement teams as the opportunity presents itself.
- Complete other tasks other than drafting floor plans such as AI annotations, marketing research, information gathering, cases studies, etc.

**Training**:
Training will be provided through Planitar Inc.’s learning management system, iGUIDE Academy.
- We will train you how to use Planitar Inc.’s proprietary drafting software “Draft” to develop and prepare floor plans for residential & commercial real estate.
- We will train you how to use Verisk’s Xactimate computer software system for estimating to develop floor plan sketches geared towards insurance and restoration clients.
- We will train you how to use Autodesk's Revit software to develop and prepare floor plans for residential and commercial architectural, engineering & construction clients.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Obtained or currently working towards a degree or diploma in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or equivalent.
- Experience using CAD tools and software (Revit, AutoCAD, Xactimate).
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to meet tight and changing deadlines.
- Advanced computer navigation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking and time management techniques.
- Attention to detail

**Bonus Points**:

- Knowledge of BOMA, ANSI or RMS measurement standards.
- BCIN for Small Buildings or working towards your BCIN.
- C.Tech or C.E.T. Designation or working towards it.

**About Planitar**:
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
