**FP&A Analyst**

**Location**: Oakville, ON

**Overview**:
The **FP&A Analyst **will be supporting the delivery of the monthly management reporting, periodic forecasts and annual budget processes. The FP&A Analyst acts as a liaison between regional finance teams, business leaders and finance. The focus on excellent customer service through regular communication and delivery of essential data to the various stakeholders will be key to the success in this role. While performing the tasks, the FP&A Analyst looks for process improvements leading to quicker turnaround times, transparent reporting, and improved customer service.

**Here's what you will do as an FP&A Analyst**:

- Coordinate and prepare monthly management reporting packages and KPIs for the Board and Senior Leadership Team by consolidating imports from, and working with finance teams across Spark Power and business leaders
- Support financial planning cycle for annual budget and periodic forecasting deliverables, working closely with the Corporate Accounting team, regional finance teams and business leaders to roll up consolidated results
- Work with business leaders across the organizations to better understand financial results as well as risks and opportunities to current forecast.
- Develop new analysis and KPIs to enhance understanding of company performance yielding new insights (such as S,G&A, Headcount reporting, Revenue mix analysis)
- Support the development and preparation of financial models, business cases and decision support; Be the owner of existing financial models and foster continuous improvements
- Oracle Adaptive
- Provide financial support and analysis for various ad hoc projects
- Assist in process improvements and build out of standardized internal reporting
- Ensure all processes are well documented and appropriate controls are in place
- Assist with adhoc tasks as required

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for**:

- 2 - 3 years of experience in an analytical role, experience dealing with senior individuals of both financial and non-financial nature is preferred
- CPA or pursuing CPA designation
- University degree in business or commerce
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory (Pivot tables, V&H Lookup, simple Macros)
- Excellent project management, multi-tasking and organizational skill
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks
- Demonstrated ability to meet defined deadlines and KPIs
- Eager and career-oriented attitude with a desire to grow professionally
- Ability to work in a hybrid work model
