Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Our Early Support Program is looking for enthusiastic and motivated **Full-Time Child Development Specialists (CDSs)** to join our team

As a CDS at SASS, you will provide direct support to children aged 2.8 to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism, within our specialized preschool/kindergarten classrooms. While each therapist is assigned a primary classroom, collaboration across all classrooms is expected, ensuring a dynamic and team-focused environment.

**Contract**: School Year (End of August - End of June)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver one-on-one and small group instruction to children with autism
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Support and implement classroom programming and individualized plans
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking individuals who:

- Are passionate about working with children
- Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)
- Excel in time management and teamwork
- Align with the mission and values of the Society for Autism Support and Services

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Current Police Record Check
- Current Child Intervention Check

**Qualifications**
- Diploma (minimum 2 years) or B.A. in Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required)

**Schedule**
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours (7.5 hours/day; 37 hours per week)
- Includes a lunch break between morning and afternoon classes
- No weekends
- Off during Winter Break and Spring Break
