**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Payroll Administration** - Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees
- **Bookkeeping** - Maintain accurate financial records and coordinate with accounting professionals
- **Government Remittances** - Manage all CRA remittances, WSIB, HST filings, and related reporting
- **New Employee Setup** - Prepare and maintain employee onboarding and hiring packages
- **Staff Oversight** - Supervise office staff and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- **Permit and Compliance Management** - Ensure all systems, licenses, and permits remain current and compliant
- **Fleet Tracking** - Oversee company vehicle records, maintenance schedules, and GPS tracking
- **Insurance Management** - Handle policy renewals, claims, and insurance documentation
- **Union Documentation** - Prepare and submit union reports, deductions, and remittances accurately and on time
- **Security Clearance** - Bruce Power security clearance is considered a strong asset, will need to obtain either way.
- **Employee Training Records** - Track certifications, safety training, and renewal schedules
- **Bruce Power Onboarding/Offboarding** - Coordinate required documentation and processes for Bruce Power site access
- **Additional Duties** - Support senior management with administrative tasks and project coordination as required

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll, bookkeeping, and government reporting requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse teams and clients.
- Experience in training development and team management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Familiarity with human resources processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software - QuickBooks

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
