**Position Description**:
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a world-renowned paediatric academic health science centre, and the University of Toronto's Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, are seeking a full-time Pathologist to join the Division of Pathology, Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor.
The Division of Pathology at SickKids has 11 pathologists responsible for providing a comprehensive range of paediatric pathology services, teaching and research. In addition to its active surgical pathology and autopsy services, the Division has specialized facilities and access to state-of-the-art and cutting-edge technologies to conduct advanced diagnostics, including on-site molecular diagnostics, electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry. The Division enjoys close and dynamic interactions with the other Divisions within the Department of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine (Clinical Biochemistry, Hematopathology, Microbiology and Genome Diagnostics), numerous clinical programs and services, and the SickKids Research Institute in advancing the Hospital's integrated mission of health care, teaching and research for the benefit of children and their families.
