**About This Opportunity**

As our GSE Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance operations for a diverse fleet of airport ground support equipment including baggage tractors, belt loaders, aircraft pushbacks, ground power units, air start units, and climate control equipment. You'll ensure all equipment meets rigorous safety standards while maximizing operational uptime for our airport and airline clients.

Your leadership will directly impact airport operations efficiency by maintaining the equipment that keeps passengers moving and aircraft serviced. You'll manage a team of skilled technicians while coordinating with airport operations to deliver both scheduled maintenance and emergency repair services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop a team of GSE maintenance technicians providing daily guidance, technical support, and performance management
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all ground support equipment
- Coordinate emergency repair responses to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, airport regulations, and company policies
- Manage parts inventory and vendor relationships to optimize maintenance operations
- Interface with airport operations and airline personnel to prioritize maintenance activities
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to implement reliability improvements
- Oversee documentation of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in safety committee meetings and promote a culture of workplace safety

**Qualifications**:

- Comprehensive technical knowledge of GSE maintenance processes, procedures, and diagnostics
- 5+ years of experience in aviation ground support equipment maintenance with 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate teams and manage in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of airport operations and airside safety requirements
- Experience with maintenance management systems and computerized maintenance tracking (M5, E-Sage experience beneficial)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for airport ground equipment
- Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets and control costs effectively
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technicians, management, and client representatives

**Education & Certifications**:

- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or aviation maintenance fields strongly preferred
- College or university degree in relevant technical field or business management an asset
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP)
