We are looking for an **Accounting Administrator** to join our team on a four-month contract from July to November. The Accounting Administrator supports Teldon's accounting and finance department by assisting with various accounting functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to broaden their skills in accounts receivable and payable, collaborate with an experienced team, and gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of accounting processes in a supportive and fast-paced environment during a key period in our business cycle.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Richmond, BC office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day-to-day accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) tasks
- Prepare and send customer invoices, credit/debit memos, and account statements
- Post payments and receipts to customer accounts and the general ledger
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support collections by following up on overdue accounts and documenting communications
- Manage vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements
- Compile reports on AR aging and collection status
- Assist with month-end processes and related documentation
- Provide coverage for accounting teammates during scheduled absences
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance (completed or actively pursuing)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel
- Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders and placing phone calls
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity

**Compensation**: This position offers an hourly wage of $25.00.
