**Jr. Sales Representative (Kelowna, BC)**

This is an entry level sales position. Potential growth into maintaining a standalone territory/customer base after appropriate training period as determined by General Manager and Sales Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Jr. Sales Representative’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Vacation coverage: sales calls to existing and well-established customer base, while existing sales representative is on vacation, using call sheets and order entry programs
- Assist in collection of account balances for branch customers (handing out statements, credits and collecting cheques and cash)
- Occasionally assist office staff and warehouse staff with coverage
- Attend bi-weekly sales meetings and yearly June conference
- Engage in all corporate contests
- Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager and General Manager

**Qualifications**
- 3 to 5 years of related industry experience (restaurants, grocery stores etc.) preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff
- Ability to use Microsoft programs suite and other technology
- All applicants will be required to complete a criminal and financial background check
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Food Service Industry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
