**AREAS OF OVERSIGHT + RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The role of Bookkeeper + Payroll Coordinator reports and works directly with the President, our leadership team and external Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial systems for multiple small business corporations in our group.
- Record sales and expense transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end and year-end adjusting entries
- Process payroll using QBO
- General bookkeeping data entry
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts receivable and payables
- Process supplier invoices for payment
- Biweekly payroll and expense reports
- Report to Government Agencies including: HST, payroll remittance, etc.
- Communicate with CPA to resolve any issues
- General ledger analysis and reconciliation
- Administer group benefits / insurance for small team
- Make payments and handle various business accounts
- Additional duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably with QBO.
- Understanding of full-cycle accounting/ bookkeeping principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of QBO Quickbooks Online
- Computer Proficiency is required, and knowledge of Zenoti, Monday, Google Docs /Sheets, Gmail is an asset.
- Clear written and oral communication skills
- Experience handling multiple entities is an asset, but not required.
- Proactive and can work independently
- Self motivated, organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize tasks
- Able to problem solve with strong attention to detail

**REMUNERATION**:

- **Compensation**: $20-30 per hour, based on industry experience. plus Vacation Pay, Sick Days, Personal Days, Holidays, Medical Benefits and Discounts
